Why I Love My Job as Your As Your Assemblyman & Why I Am Running Again
As I reflect on my time serving New York's 4th District, I'm reminded every day of why I embarked on this journey of public service. Being your assemblyman has been one of the greatest honors of my life. As a father, a small business owner, and someone who has grown up in this community, my connection to our district runs deep. It is this connection that drives my commitment and fuels my decision to continue to represent the residents of
Assembly District 4.
To me, serving as your assemblyman isn't just a role I play; it's a calling. It's about being a voice for you, representing our collective interests, and making decisions that benefit our community. My love for this job stems from the tangible differences we've made together and the progress we continue to strive for.
One of the achievements I'm most proud of is securing funding for the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW). Supporting our veterans, who have given so much for our country, is a cause close to my heart. Similarly, ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents drove my efforts to secure funding for the Sheep Pasture Bridge, a crucial infrastructure project that enhances our community's connectivity and safety.
Working with the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) on the Lawrence Aviation property has been another significant endeavor. Our goal is to revitalize this area, transforming it into a space that benefits our community while respecting its environmental and historical significance.
My stance on crime has been clear from the start. I am vehemently anti-crime and have worked tirelessly to oppose policies that favor criminals over the law-abiding citizens of our district. Ensuring your safety and security remains one of my top priorities.
Education is the foundation of our community's future, and I have been a passionate advocate for maintaining and increasing funding for our schools. The proposal to divert these funds is something I cannot stand by, and I am fighting against these measures. Our children deserve the best education we can provide, and I am committed to ensuring they receive it.
As I commence my campaign for your vote, it's these accomplishments and the challenges we've faced together that motivate me. My dedication to our community is unwavering, and my love for this job grows stronger with each day. I am here to serve, to be your voice, and to continue the work we've started together.
Running for another term is not a decision I take lightly. It's a pledge to keep fighting for what matters to us, to improve the lives of every resident in our district. Serving as your assemblyman is not just my job—it's a privilege that I hold dear and a responsibility I cherish.
Thank you for your trust, your support, and the opportunity to serve you.
Together, let's continue to make New York's 4th District a place we're all proud to call home.
